AlomWare Actions

AlomWare Actions works like this: set up an action, assign it a hotkey, then press the hotkey to run the action. Thanks to a wizard, you can easily set up several types of actions: launch an application, open a file, open a folder, access a website, paste a block of text, record keystrokes and mouse clicks, run DOS command, set clipboard text, type some keystrokes.

AlomWare Actions is available as a portable version that doesn’t need to be installed and it’s also available as an installer that is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. Get the portable version if you want to use AlomWare Actions when you’re on the go, get the installer if you want to install AlomWare Actions on your Windows PC.

AlomWare Actions comes bundled with a bunch of example actions, which are listed on the Actions panel and displayed on the left hand side on the application’s interface. Select an action from the list and the Steps panel on the right will present all the elements that make up the action. Above these two panels there are toolbars with buttons to create more actions, add new steps, assign a hotkey, and more.

Please note that AlomWare Actions doesn’t close when you click the X button. What it does instead is it minimizes to the system tray. This isn’t unusual, seeing how AlomWare Actions needs to run in the background and launch an action when you use the hotkey assigned to that action. Speaking about hotkeys, it’s worth mentioning that you can bring up this application’s interface by using the Ctrl + Tilde hotkey.

AlomWare Actions is available as a paid and as a free Lite version that’s free for private, home use only and is limited to just 10 actions.

Use the Action Wizard to set up an action (launch application, open file, access website, and more). Assign that action a hotkey. Then, whenever you need to run the action, just use the assigned hotkey.
